No worries, Boston has a number of neighborhoods tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, but close enough to main locations within and near the big city. The neighborhood best known for offering a tranquil atmosphere but close to the big city is Framingham. The homes found in Framingham that you can rent for a night or several nights are spacious, clean, and inviting – don’t worry – you’ll feel right at home, and be near everything Boston has to offer. Our residence located in Framingham, Massachusetts, five minutes by car to the:
- main shopping centers of the town,
- local train station (Massachusetts Common Rail) and
- local university (Framingham State University).
The Neighborhood
Neighborhood very quiet and silent, ideal for those who need a moments of relaxation. The neighbors are very discreet and polite, and respect to all.
The neighborhood streets are wide and spacious. In spring seasons, summer and fall, you can walk through them.
There are parks on the outskirts, where you can go hiking and admire the beautiful local landscape.
Proximity also with the Framingham Historical District and the Maynard Building, the Framingham State University, a place that offers excellent English courses for various levels and purposes, affordable – about 10 minutes walk from the residence and less 5 minutes by car.
Getting Around
Unfortunately, the town of Framingham is one of the few cities in the State of Massachusetts that can’t offers public transport. However, you can get to Boston using the Boston Common Rail, that station is located in Framingham downtown – 10 minutes by car from the residence.
Another option is to go to Boston through the subway, Green Line, that station is located in the nearby town of Newton – 20 minutes by car from the residence. From there you can get to the main points of Boston, among which we highlight the Logan International Airport, Harvard University, the Hynes Convention Center and the Longwood medical area.
Also a good option is renting a car. Car rental prices in the United States is usually very cheap. The roads are good and the signage is excellent. We recommend, however, avoid times of greater flow, as of 7am to 9am and 5pm at 7pm.
Finally, we also offer shuttle services to various locations.
